Custom New Home Construction in Cincinnati
A custom home should start with your life, not a stock plan. Fry Homes designs and builds one-of-a-kind homes throughout Greater Cincinnati, with Ben Fry personally involved from early planning through final walkthrough.

A custom home should start with your life, not a stock plan
Building new gives you the opportunity to decide how the home should work before construction begins - how rooms connect, where natural light matters, how storage is handled, how guests move through the house, and which spaces deserve more of the budget. Fry Homes designs and builds custom homes around those priorities rather than asking you to fit your life into a preset plan.

We build throughout Greater Cincinnati on client-owned land, on infill or teardown lots, and on properties we help clients evaluate before they purchase.
How it works
Our custom home process
01
Initial conversation
Goals, budget, location, timing, and must-haves.
02
Property evaluation
Access, grading, utilities, orientation, setbacks, and the overall fit between the lot and the home you want to build.
03
Design and preliminary pricing
Develop the floor plan and exterior with the budget in the conversation from the beginning.
04
Selections and construction planning
Coordinate materials, finishes, allowances, and schedule before they become field decisions.
05
Construction and communication
Ben Fry remains personally involved as the home moves from site work through final walkthrough.

Not chaotic, just custom
Designed to be custom without making the process chaotic
Custom does not have to mean disorganized. The goal of our design-build approach is to make the large number of decisions in a custom home feel manageable and connected. We want clients to understand where the project stands, what decisions are coming, and how those decisions affect cost and schedule.

If you already have plans from an architect or designer, we are also happy to review them and discuss the best path into pricing and construction.
